Parametric Strong Motion Database

SHARE assembled a strong motion database from preexisting strong motion databases. The database consists of accelerograms gathered from the Europeanstrong-motion database (ESMD),

the Turkish national strong-motion database (T-NSMP),
the Next Generation Attenuation database (NGA),
the KIK-Net database,
the global worldwide database compiled by Cauzzi and Faccioli (C&F),
the Internet Site for European Strong-motion Data (ISESD), and
the Italian Accelerometric Archive (ITACA) database.

The databank covers earthquakes from the 1930s to 2009 covering the globe. The databank contains a total of 2448 events and 14193 records.
