SUIhaz15 is the Seismic Hazard Model for Switzerland of 2015, developed by the Swiss Seismological Service (Schweizerischer Erdbebendienst SED) at ETH Zürich. General information about earthquake hazard in Switzerland can be found on the SED webpages.
SUIhaz15 is the result of a state-of-the-art probabilistic seismic hazard assessment process, incorporating information about geology and tectonics, earthquake occurrence and earthquake rate models, geodetic strain, historical seismicity and macroseismic information according to the current state of scientific knowledge. It was calculated using the GEM OpenQuake engine.
The hazard.EFEHR web platform and web services are developed, maintained and hosted by the Swiss Seismological Service (SED) at ETH Zurich under the umbrella of EFEHR, in collaboration with the GEM Foundation and EPOS (European Plate Observing System).
